Post2PortalBot

You probably arrived here because you saw Post2PortalBot/1.0 in your website’s logs.

What it does

Post2Portal publishes estate agencies’ listings on property portals. When an agency has no export from its software, the agency asks us to read the listings from its own website. Post2PortalBot does that: it visits the property pages once or twice a day and copies the details and photos the agency has already published.

It only reads websites whose owner has signed up and given permission.

How it behaves

• It obeys robots.txt. Use User-agent: Post2PortalBot to set rules just for it.
• It reads one page at a time, with a pause between pages, and at most a few hundred pages per visit.
• It never submits forms, logs in or reads anything that isn’t public.
