Terms of service

Last updated: 18 October 2026

1. Who we are and who these terms are for

Post2Portal is provided by JRE Marketing Ltd, registered in England and Wales (company no. 17115745), registered office Shadwell House, 65 Lower Green Road, Tunbridge Wells, TN4 8TW, United Kingdom (“we”, “us”). Contact: hello@post2portal.com.

These terms apply to the estate agencies and property businesses (“you”, “the agency”) that use Post2Portal. The service is for businesses only, not for consumers. By using an account you accept these terms on behalf of your agency. Anything agreed in a written offer or order with us (for example the plan and price) also applies; if it conflicts with these terms, the offer or order wins.

2. The service

Post2Portal takes your property listings and publishes them on the property portals you choose, keeps them up to date and withdraws them when you remove them. Listings can come from your property software’s export (XML or CSV), from your own website, or be typed into Post2Portal. We may also add automatic translations and check listings against each portal’s rules.

We keep improving the service, so features may change. We will not remove a main feature you pay for without telling you in advance.

3. Your account

You are responsible for the people you give access to and for keeping logins private. Tell us straight away if you think an account has been misused.

4. Your listings

  • You are responsible for your listings: that they are accurate, lawful and up to date, and that they meet the legal requirements for property advertising in Italy (for example showing the energy class).
  • You confirm that you have the right to use and publish everything in your listings, including photos, plans, videos and descriptions, and any personal data in them.
  • You give us permission to copy, store, adapt (for example resize photos, change formats, translate) and send your listings to the portals you choose, only to provide the service. You keep all your rights in your content.
  • We may decline or remove a listing that appears unlawful, misleading or in breach of a portal’s rules.

5. Reading your website

If you choose “Your website” as a source, you confirm that the website belongs to your agency (or that you are allowed to authorise this) and you authorise us to read the listings published on it, automatically and regularly, for the service. Our robot, Post2PortalBot, reads only public pages, follows robots.txt and reads one page at a time. Results depend on how your site is built; we will show you a preview before anything is published. You can stop this at any time by switching the source off.

6. The portals

Portals are independent companies with their own terms, rules, fees and decisions. For most portals you need your own account with them, and any fees they charge are between you and them. We cannot guarantee that a portal will accept, show or keep any listing, or how it ranks it. A listing is shown as “published” in Post2Portal only when the portal confirms it. Some of our partner sites (for example Luxury Italian Houses) have their own quality criteria and approval.

When you ask us to connect a portal for you (“connect it for me”), you authorise us to contact the portal on your behalf with the account details you give us.

7. Plans, fees and payment

The plan, price and billing period are those in your offer or order. Prices are in euros. Unless the offer says otherwise, fees are payable in advance and plans renew automatically for the same period until cancelled. We may change prices for future periods with at least 30 days’ notice; if you don’t agree you can cancel before the change. Free trials and test accounts can be ended by us at any time.

8. Availability and support

We work to keep Post2Portal available and to fix problems quickly, but we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free, especially where it depends on portals, your software, your website or internet providers. We may carry out maintenance, preferably outside Italian office hours. Support is by email at hello@post2portal.com.

9. Acceptable use

You must not use Post2Portal to publish unlawful, fraudulent or discriminatory content, to send spam, to infringe anyone’s rights, or to try to break into, overload or copy the service.

10. Data protection

For personal data in your listings and account (for example agents’ contact details) you are the controller and we are your processor. We will:

  • process it only to provide the service and on your documented instructions (these terms and your settings);
  • make sure our staff are bound by confidentiality;
  • keep it secure, and tell you without undue delay if we become aware of a personal data breach affecting it;
  • use other providers only to run the service (currently OVHcloud for hosting in the EU, and where enabled an email delivery and a machine translation provider), under contracts that protect the data; we will tell you before adding or replacing one so you can object;
  • help you respond to requests from individuals and with your other GDPR obligations, as far as reasonable;
  • at the end of the service delete the data (after giving you the chance to export it), unless the law requires us to keep it;
  • give you the information needed to show that these obligations are met.

The portals you choose receive your listings as independent controllers under their own terms. How we handle other personal data is explained in our privacy notice.

11. Confidentiality

Each of us will keep the other’s non-public business information confidential and use it only for the service.

12. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or anything else that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, we are not liable for loss of profits, sales, business, goodwill or data, or for indirect losses, nor for the acts or omissions of portals or other third parties. Our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period.

You will compensate us for claims by third parties (including portals) arising from your listings or content, for example claims that a photo infringes someone’s copyright.

13. Ending the service

You can cancel at any time with effect from the end of your current billing period, by email or as described in your offer. We can end the service with 30 days’ notice, or immediately if you seriously breach these terms or don’t pay after a reminder. When the service ends we remove your listings from the feeds we send to portals, and delete your data within 60 days, after giving you the chance to export it.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will tell you about important changes at least 30 days in advance by email or in the app; if you don’t agree you can cancel before they apply.

15. Law and courts

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. We will always try to solve any problem with you directly first. An Italian translation is available; if the two versions differ, this English version prevails.
